I have been seeing all kinds of "Mama" labels lately. Crunchy Mama, Almond Mama, Helicopter Mama, and the list goes on. Since I don't really fit in any of those preconcieved lables, I created my own. I am a Crock Pot Mama! My kids know that I will defer to a Crock Pot meal on any busy day! Dump the ingredients and forget it for about 8 - 10 hours. You come home to an incredible aroma and know that your family will be fed.
With the chill in the air, I want to make all the soups and stews! I will usually make a pot of soup, stew or chili on the weekend and eat that for lunch throughout the week. My freezer is filling up for the really cold days. I know that I will have meals in the winter to enjoy and that God has provided these for me.
Proverbs 21:5 "The plans of the diligent lead to profit".
How do you plan for the future? Maybe you meal plan for a week, or put away money for a rainy day. We must be diligent in our planning to be able to be profitable in the future. Think of the skills that God has gifted you to help you with this preperation. Patience, commitment, and diligence all go into planning ahead. I encourage you to decide how you will plan for your future and to stay diligent in the process.
